About Me

I am Charlotte Letcher, a local of Matakana who spends most of my life attending to sheep, cows, my garden, and my family. I also take great joy in my work as a counsellor, child therapist, ACC lead provider, and mental health professional in the broader Auckland area.

With 30 years of experience working with and caring for children, I began my career as a teacher and principal in Samoa and New Zealand. After retraining, I spent three years as a school counsellor in Auckland and have been a trauma counsellor for both adults and children specializing in ACC sensitive claims for the past three years.

In addition to this, I assist couples and families in navigating their relational challenges and find particular satisfaction in working with young children through play therapy, sand-tray therapy, Lego therapy, and art therapy.

I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling Theory (with Distinction), and I am currently in the process of completing my Masters of Counselling, although very slowly! I am provisionally registered with both NZAC and ACC.
